These Terms govern the use of MAPHRODITE services. Please note the distinction between our Personal App and our Commercial API.

1. The iOS App (Personal Use)

• License: Downloading the App grants you a non-transferable license for personal, educational use.
• Offline Nature: The App functions locally on your device. You acknowledge that calculations are performed using the device's hardware.
• Data Responsibility: Since we do not store your data on servers, you are solely responsible for backing up your device if you wish to preserve your saved profiles.

2. The Calculation API (Commercial Use)

• Authorization: Access to the API requires a valid commercial agreement and API Key. Unauthorized attempts to access the API endpoints are prohibited.
• Usage Limits: API Partners must adhere to the rate limits and quotas defined in their specific Service Agreement.
• Prohibited Use: You may not resell, cache, or reverse-engineer the raw calculation data without express written permission.

3. Disclaimer (Universal)

For Educational Purposes Only. While our astronomical calculations (utilizing Swiss Ephemeris) are scientifically precise, the astrological interpretation of this data is subjective. Maphrodite is not a substitute for professional advice.

4. Intellectual Property

All source code, calculation algorithms, and design elements for both the App and the API are the property of MAPHRODITE.
